paff is led by Andrew Darnton and Suzanne Stallard, with Joel Bennett. 

Andrew is a change practitioner and evaluator. He has been working on climate change since co-authoring the UK Government’s Sustainable Development Strategy in 2005. Recently Andrew’s work has focused on ways to measure change in complex systems, using the innovative Revaluation approach which he cocreated in 2015.

Suzanne is an artist and community organiser, based in Reading, where she was born and grew up. She founded and has run Jelly for over 30 years, a community arts charity, and since 2023 a National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) of the Arts Council England.

Joel is a healer and therapist, with a focus on complex trauma and existential issues. He favours group work in community settings, helping people find wellbeing through reconnecting to nature and ancestors in the place they are from.

paff is also a collective of artists and advisors.

the headline artists are people whose work addresses paff’s themes of breakdown and resilience. Many of them approach their work as an act of healing in a time of crisis: hence their keenness to get involved in paff. These artists have made in principle commitments to work with us in a place between now and 2031.  

the advisors are professionals who are well placed to ensure paff delivers on its ambitious agenda. They are specialist in various area inc. public arts, fundraising, community development, inclusion and social justice.
